What Causes Ear Ache After Undergoing Myringoplasty?

I had a myringoplasty 6 weeks ago and developed infections which were treated with antibiotics. I still have alot of pain when swallowing, looking up and sometimes when talking. Over the last week the discomfort has increased. I have had my ear checked and there is no signs of infection. Why am I still in pain please?
