What Causes Ear And Throat Pain With Dysphagia?

I have been having pain on only my left ear and my throat as I swallow. It feels like its right behind the ear that this stabbing pain insists to occur only when I swallow something. This has occurred for about two days now and its not that its too painful, don't get me wrong it hurts, but its more of an aggravation.
