What Causes Ear Pus With Itching After Cyst Removal?

I had a sebaceous cyst and a mole, both on my right ear, removed by laser yesterday. I ve been applying neosporin/maximum strength pain relief as well as taking 2 excedrin back and body extra strength caplets every six hours. My ear is pussing a yellowish-crusty puss and itches really bad. Is this normal? What can I do for relief?
