What Causes Earache With Watery-blood Discharge?

Hi I've had a cold all week and tonight pretty suddenly developed a terrible earache. I've tried a few different natural remedies and nothing has been helping and then there was some intense pain and now there is a bit of watery-blood-like discharge....what do I do? Do I need to go to E.R. or anything? Will this just go away?
