What Causes Electric Shock Sensation In Brain Along With Pain In Arms?

I have been having pain in both upper arms. And mostly every night I get woken up when I feel like my brain was shocked. Like when you get an electric shock from a socket. I also experience times where I forget where I am for a few seconds. What could this be?
