What Causes Elevated ALT And SGPT Level In Blood?

I m a bit concerned after a routine blood test came back with alt/sgpt of 69 which it has never been high in the past. What could be the cause or causes for this and is it treatable. I also fear that i have two young children and I DONT want there being any way I could pass something to them
