What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Along With Severe Headache And Nausea?

My husband has high blood pressure it has been ranging 170/110 and his heart feels like it might jump out of his chest. I has severe headaches and nauseated. Can this all be from his BP? When he goes to the hospital they can't find out anything and give him fluids and meds to lower his BP.
