What Causes Elevated High BP While On Medication For Bronchitis?

2 weeks ago i had my annual checkup & my blood pressure was 137/65. today i went back due to illness & tested very high. i believe 202/94. i was diagnosed with bronchitis & given lasixto complement/enhance the irbersartan im currently on. for ten days i had been using musinex max every 5hrs & i hadconsumed approximately 4 oz.of alcohol last nite. your opinion for such a huge jump
