What Causes Elevated Levels Of Protein And Calcium In Blood?

A recent blood test my 19 year old son just had done came back with mildly elevated levels of protein and calcium. The doctor wants to repeat the test in a couple of weeks. What could this be? I ve looked up hyperparathyroidism, but it doesn t mention protein being high. He went in due to being very anxious and stressed for a period of at least 6 months to a year. He believes it is due to ADD - the doctor and my son. Any insight you can offer will be appreciated.
