Hi my mother had acute pancreatitis and was hospitalized for 12 days.
Last day of her stay at the hospital her amylase level was 160, the upper limit was 100.
Now 1 week after she got out of the hospital her amylase level is 180!
She is strict with her diet now eating low fat food mostly cooked vegetables like potatoes, carrots and zucchini, chicken breasts, low fat veal.
