What Causes Elevated Levels Of Leukocytes Along With Frequent Urination?

I was diagnosed with IC several yrs. ago. I took a home UTI Test. My Leukocytes was very high, but my Nitrite was normal. What does that mean? I started having alot of pain, burning, discomfort, & more frequent urination. I still have burning & pain after using the bathroom. What might i be dealing with. Will Cipro help or make worse?
