What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?

My dog had a liver blood test on Saturday. 3 of 4 enzyme levels 900+ - I understand normal level for that enzyme is around 133. Last year it was elevated at 300+. In addition 2 kidney enzymes elevated. He is a mini snauzer age 13. What could be the possible causes
