What Causes Elevation In Blood Sugar Levels During Pregnancy?

I had gestational diabetes with my daughter. I have not yet been back to be retested for diabetes. I am 14 weeks pp delivery. I took my blood sugar levels 2 hours post breakfast. It was 9.1 is this normal. My blood sugar levels were 6.1 pre breakfast (fasting)
