What Causes Elevation Of Uric Acid Level?

I suffer from RA. For pain in the back of my heel I have been prescribed Defza 6 for 15 days-- off and on. When I stop the meds the pain resumes. I also have high Triglyceride count 238- and now my uric acid level is 4.2. Will the steroid cause the triglycerides to rise further?
