What Causes Enlarged Uterus And Endometrium Thickness?

I have had many irregular paps since 2009 but instead of furthering testing they just did more paps. Then this last august I started getting stomach problems, my stomach bloats out, and hurts really bad, my periods are irregular, my back hurts, then the fatigue set in. They ordered an US and found my uterus enlarged, the endometrial thickness enlarged to 9 mm, dilated tubular structures in both adnexal regions, and a 2cm left ovarian cyst, I'm confused because the tec called the cyst mass and the radiologist called it a cyst on the report. They recommended a ct right away but my doctor said it's no emergency just a cyst? What's going on?
