What Causes Episodes Of Atrial Fibrillation Along With Cramping Of Hiatal Hernia?

I have been diagnosed with afib recently, I am 55 and never had anything like this before, I also have a sliding hiatal hernia, overtime I eat now I get an episode of afib, I can barely live like this, on heart meds, not working, keep having afib and its only when my hernia is cramped feeling or up in my stomach , Is there an association?
