What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

Hi Dr...My boyfriend had a cut on his manhood and when he took a bath he poured a cap of dettol antiseptic liquid in the water to somehow heal the wound and now he can't get an erection...what are the chances that thismight have caused his erection problems...please advise...anonymous
