What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

My boyfriend and I love to have sex theres no question about it but everytime we go to haev sex its like he gets hard for a little bit but by the time i go to insert or get on top of him it goes limp. I dont know why? Then its like i have to start all over again to get him hard after a couple of times of doing this i get frusterated and just dont want it anymore.
