What Causes Erosion And Erythema Throughout The Oesophagus?

I started having difficuty swallowing last week then hives started I am on prednisone and vistaril just started on prontinix had a upper endoscopy today that showed erosion and erythema throughout esophagus and stomach. No answers yet and still having symptoms
