What Causes Excess Dryness In Mouth?

Hi Dr,I am 54 years old, male.Gall bladder already removed. High blood pressure just above normal range. With fatty liver, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides a bit above normal range.I have dry /sore throat for last 2 to 3 weeks. I also find a small piece of something grown next to the uvula. NowTaking third course of antibiotics ending today but I still feel my throat dry. Occasionally fever and feel cold.I consulted a ENT doctor 2 days ago who said that I still some infection in the throat after investigation and that the small piece growth is nothing to worry. He asked for full blood count (GPIC) tests which indicate overall normal except MPV 5.8 fL (normal range between 5.8 to 12.0) and white blood cell count 11.5 10^3/uL (normal range between 4.3 to 10.5). I have done a similar test a month ago which are normal. For the last 2 weeks, I have anxiety after reading some medical searches through internet and sleep about only 3 to 4 hours per day and wake up at night. I could sleep for about half an hour while watching TV after works. Occasionally I feel cold but thermometer reading indicate ok and it seems psychology factor. Is the latest blood test indicate "normal" under these circumstance ? and what should I do next? Thanks.Lee
