What Causes Excess Flesh In Vaginal Opening?

I know that not all vaginas look the same or are meant to be symmetrical but my vaginal opening is very fleshy. Could all of this messy fleshyness be due to having sex with someone with a big penis or is this normal? (Please note, I am familiar with terminology and mean vaginal opening not labia minora or labia majora) Thank you
