What Causes Excessive Crying Followed By Cold Sweat In An Infant?

Our six-day-old daughter was just crying uncontrollably for several minutes and nothing could appease her. She d eaten within the last hour and a half, but when offered, nursed for about seven minutes more just now. She still did not stop crying afterwards. Her temperature is about 97, but she seems to have broken out into a cold sweat. Is this normal? My wife wrapped her up in a fleece blanket, and draped another blanket over her to warm her up, and she eventually stopped crying. We checked her temperature again and she was still hovering between 96 and 97. Still, the cold sweat is concerning. Anything we need to do, or need to be concerned about?
