What Causes Excessive Crying In An Infant?

My 2 month old daughter has a hoarse cry, started last night. She is a little more fussy than normal but no fever or runny nose. She did have a good crying fit last night, she normally does not cry a whole lot. She is eating well and having bowl movements.
