What Causes Excessive Stomach Gas When Suffering From Crohn S Disease?

I have crohns it has been under control for a while, but I have excessive gas every time I eat anything,and have mucus with a sickening odor when I have a bowel movement . Should I be concerned. Also sometimes I can t tell when I am having a bowel movement. What s going on.
