What Causes Excessive Swelling In Abdomen After Having Exjade?

yes I have sickle cell anemia and due to the numerous blood transfusions I ve received over the years I have an iron overload in my liver and my doctor has put me on exjade for that but now I have excessive swelling in my abdomen area and my thighs on down to my feet and I m in excruciating pain daily and my doctor said that there s nothing else he can do and to continue to take the meds that he s prescribed for me and i m writing to ask if there s anything else possible that can be done because I m at my ropes end.....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
