What Causes Excessive White Discharge?

In week three(3) of pregnancy, is it possible to have a white discharge, or even changes in the yeast balance. I think i might be pregnant however, i have been experiencing a greater amount of discharge and it is white, can this be pregnancy or just a yeast infection? Thanks for your response.
