What Causes Excruciating Pain And Swelling In Lower Abdomen?
I'm a smaller female (120lbs 5'5").
I was in excruciating pain for 4-5 days and now my lower abdomen is swelling days after doing 80 sit ups. I had a c section performed on me almost 5 years prior and the swelling is just under my scar. It was huge (size of my small fist) earlier but now it has gone down some but it still abnormally swollen. I'm not having problems going to the restroom at all. I feel a hard mass under the "poofyness" in the area. It doesn't hurt much when I press the middle of the bulge but on the sides it does. Is this possibly a hernia?
