What Causes Extra Piece Of Skin Between Butt And Vagina?

I have an extra piece of skin between my butt and my vagina, I don't know the cause of it but I have had it as long as I can remember.. I go to the gynecologist regularly and she hasn't said anything about it.. do you have any idea what it could be? I'm 18 5'4'' and roughly 150lbs
