What Causes Extreme Pain, Flashes And Tinnitus Immediately After A Suppository?

I had extreme pain, flashes, and ringing in ears from inserting applicator for a suppository farther into my vagina then I have ever before. I did not even push the suppository in and took it out as soon as I could and sunk to the floor because I could no longer stand. Why did this happen? Should I be concerned?
