What Causes Extreme Pain While Injecting CCK During HIDA Scan While Ejection Fraction Is Normal?

I had a HIDA scan today and the results showed that my ejection fraction was 84%. I experienced some difficulties during the test. One of the issues was that I had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the tracer to get to my gallbladder and the other being that I was in extreme pain when they injected the CCK. The pain I felt was in the middle of my abdomen and felt like stabbing. I also felt pain in my back and in my right side. My doctor is going to refer me to a surgeon about getting my gallbladder removed because they said the results were abnormal due to the pain I experienced. What is causing the pain if the ejection fraction is normal?
