What Causes Extreme Sore Throat And Lightheadedness?

I have an extremely sore throat and i m very lightheaded. it s been like this for about 2 weeks, im going to a carecenter tomorrow to check on it, but what should i expect? what could this be? i don t have any allergies as far as i know, and i havent eaten anything weird lately..
