What Causes Eye Pain?

My son is 12 yrs d. His eyes hurt when he is around corners, sharp angled objects. He has had his eyes checked but they say he is fine. This has been going on for years. If he s at school and he look at corners at eye level , it really bothers him. Then he has to cover his eyes
