What Causes Fainting Sensation While Having Controlled Diabetes And High BP?

Hi every time i stand up i just about faint and feel giddy which goes after a short time by sitting on the floor. It seems to be getting worse and even getting up slowly doesn t help. Once moving around i don t feel bad at all. My blood pressure is 97/54 and i am taking blood pressure tablets for hi blood pressure. I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but have manged to get it under control with diet which has seen me lose weight. Is this a problem? Should i get my medication adjusted.
