What Causes Fainting While Having Low BP And Slow Heart Rate?

I fainted earlier on today after getting kicked in my thigh. Just wondering why this happened? I went to the local medical centre to confirm what caused me to faint. They said it must have been due to the shock. They checked my blood pressure, and my heart beat. My blood pressure was a little low, and the nurse sent me to a doctor to get a ECG done. My heartbeat was a little slow. Just asking this to get a second opinion on my health.
