What Causes Falling Of Finger Nail In An Infant?

My 20 month old is losing another fingernail. They come off from the bottom after looking like they are bubbling. She was not injured, didn t pinch her fingers, was not sick, and has no signs of fungus. They don t appear to bother her while they are coming off (and growing back in). What is causing this? How can I stop it?
