What Causes Fatigue Along With Difficulty In Breathing Post Intercourse?

My boyfriend passed out after having sex. His whole body shook 3 or 4 times and was he completely unresponsive for about 2 or 3 minutes. His breathing was extremely heavy until the last 20seconds at which point he stopped breathing all together. He woke up coughing and gasping for air. What should we do??
