What Causes Fatigue Immediately After Smoking A Cigarette?

Hi ive been smoking lightly since around september but in the past month i have fainted twice after smoking a ciggarette, should i just stop smoking or is there something more serious, i dont want to tell my mum as she doesnt no i smoke so i dont want to visit my gp
