What Causes Feeling Of Acidic Reaction In Vagina?

I am feeling acidic reaction in my vegina dring the periods time and the last two days are more. I felt my skin is also irritated between the thighs at that time. Is it abnormal?

My age is 44 years, 164 cms height and 155 pounds weight. I don't have any gynic problems till now but sometimes I have heavy periods and usually I have lot of pain in my periods time.
