What Causes Feeling Of Lump Inside Throat Along With Sore Throat?

I have had a sore throat, for several weeks a coating on throat, loss of voice off and on for 3 months now. It feels like a lump in my throat now. Was treated for a fungal infection but it did not help. Am allergic to most all antibiotics. Where do I go from here?
