What Causes Feeling Of Pill Stuck In Esophagus After Taking Doxylag And Metrolag?

Hi I m on both doxylag and metrolag I was diagnosed with cervical erosion and infections after birth. I have been ok on the first 2 days but I have been taking my doses before going to bed and I wake up with pain feeling that the pill is stuck in my esophagus. This feeling is very painful and I drank lots of water but it still won t go. Should i stop the medication?
