What Causes Feeling Of Something Stuck In The Throat?

From time to time it feels like my throat is closing up or I feel like something is stuck in my throat. I have no problem drinking or eating . I am always drinking water thinking that will clear it up. It does not. It is not all the time it comes and goes. Not sure what to think about this
