What Causes Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat With Chest Pain?

My dad was having difficulty swallowing his food without having some chest pain or feeling of getting stuck in throat. He went for about a week like this. today he went to have a cat scan done. What could be the results that we may hear. I don t want to wait all weekend for more tests to be done on monday i want to know now what he can do...he can t eat.
