What Causes Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat With History Of HPV?

I had a strain of HPV a few years back. For over a year now I feel as though there is something in the back of my throat. LIke mucous that I cant get out. I went to an ENT and he scoped down my nose, and said that I had a pool of acid down there and perscribed my prilosec. But it seems to not be going. away. Could this be associated with my HPV? Do i need to do further testing?
