What Causes Fesh Coloured Mone On Chin?

Hi, I have a mole on my chin just on my jaw line.. I went to the doctor months ago as I noticed it getting bigger, he told my it was a spot but it's been there for years so it can't be.. It is a flesh coloured mole that has developed a darker ring type lump around it, it also has alot of veins in running through the middle lump.. I'm confused to which part of it is the mole I first had?? Is it anything to worry about?
