What Causes Fever Along With Burning Sensation In Eyes Of A Child?

Hi. My grandaughter, almost three years old, is visiting us from WI here in FL. She has a 101 degree fever and is complaining of sore, burning eyes. She had a full day at Magic Kingdom on Fri, and swimming in pools on Thur and Sat. Today, didn t want to eat much during day but more of an appetite now. Periods of being tired and others of normal energy and attitudes. Anything to be concerned?
