What Causes Fever And Dryness In Throat?

my son has 104.7 fever he aint ate all day he has been asleep he woke up and called my name when i went in the room he was already asleep and his lips are all dry...he has a dry cough but nothing comes up and he seems like when he coughs he needs to throw up?
