What Causes Fever And Infection On Removal Of Lap Band?

My daughter was hospitalized for 14 days. She had a lap band and port removed in November. Symptoms were fever, infection, asides, extended belly. Now 2 months later the surgical wounds are opening up again and leaking ascides, mad night sweats. Extended belly. Lab work comes back normal. No findings w ct scan, with or without contrast, or in the ultra sound. Gastroenterologist suggests some markings of TB. Any thoughts.
