What Causes Fever, Paleness, Sore Throat And Hands Tingling?

hi I don't know to much about this, because I just got back from a trip. But all week my sister has been pale,feverish, sore throat, tingling hands that make her want to clap and It makes her wake up in the middle of the night screaming. She says sometimes her hands feel too big for her arms, and sometimes too small. please help!
