What Causes Fever, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Headache, Lightheadedness And Lack Of Appetite?

my daughter is on her way to the emergency room, (college in NC) with symptoms of fever, swollen lymph nodes, aches, headache, light headedness and chills, with no appetite. She is 20 years old, already had full case of mono at age 10 and is generally healthy. I m wondering if she could have viral meningitis? another college mate was admitted into hospital a few weeks ago for bacterial meningitis, but she had no contact with her, but knew did with some of her friends?
