What Causes Fibroadenoma?

hai..im female 50 . i observed a lump in my breast. i consulted a doctor and she wrote as fibroadenoma on priscription and prescribed megla,codesoft tablets for 10 days. now it is 7th day...i noticed small change in lump size. what is the cause of lump. is it harmful. im soo afraid.
